Hey I am Shashwat…Nice to Meet You
Photography has been a passion of mine ever since I was 14 years old and over the years I have met with numerous people with the same interest as mine. When I started out, I browsed the internet for like hours, literally to get the best content and to learn as much as possible. Now I believe is the time to give back to the community!
Over the years, I have learned a lot about various genres of photography, like street, wildlife, macro, etc. Each genre is a different form of art in itself and there are infinitely many directions one could move forward in photography.
Having said that, a good tool is always essential for an artist when it comes to making a masterpiece. Having a good sturdy tripod is always essential whether you are into landscapes or wildlife or even street photography. I’m sure you will find a lot of amazing content here including equipment guides, reviews, photography tips and much more!
My Story
I belong to Varanasi, India. It is said to be the oldest living city in the world and is a very photogenic place. I started out with an old film camera that belonged to my grandfather. I shot a few rolls just to try my hand at it. The pictures were beautiful.
I got my first DSLR on my next birthday, I was over the moon!! I began walking on the streets and started capturing the very essence of Indian culture. In time, I met numerous people who encouraged me to go further and get better. I spent hours learning how to use the camera and to understand the nuances of photography.
Soon, I was a part of many local clubs who organised exhibitions, photo-walks and talks about photography. It was overwhelming to see so many people interested in what I did. Meeting new people, building relations and experiencing life from a different perspective is what photography is all about. I started Tripods For All as a way to share the knowledge I have about tripods, equipment and photography in general and I sincerely hope that you will benefit from it.

The art of photography has changed dramatically in many aspects but the core essence is the same. It is still a form of art and certainly not a child’s play. Each one of you out there needs to understand that proper equipment can enhance your work to a great extent. Choosing to work with a tripod can drastically improve your skills in many ways. I always suggest that going on a shoot with a tripod is a must. It is understandable that every person is at a different level and has various needs but there is proper equipment for all kinds of needs and budgets.
There is no point in practicing your art without proper guidance or tools. Do not waste time or procrastinate. Everyone has got the same number of hours in a day, it is up to you how do you spend it. Tripods can serve a photographer for a lifetime if cared for properly. Do not hesitate in investing in a quality piece of equipment.
That’s right, I said, “invest”. So go and make this investment and I’m sure you won’t regret it.
